Depending on how you interact with Mukbi, we may collect:

• WhatsApp-related information, where applicable, including WhatsApp identifiers, phone numbers, message content, conversation metadata, and related information received through the WhatsApp Business Platform or Cloud API in connection with Mukbi CRM or related messaging functionality.
• CRM and business information, such as customer records, notes, workflow data, and other information submitted or processed through Mukbi CRM at the direction of our customers.
• Technical and log information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, and similar information collected through normal operation of our website and services.

How we use information

We use information as reasonably necessary to:

• Deliver Mukbi CRM and related product functionality

Information received through the WhatsApp Business Platform is used only as reasonably necessary to provide and support the messaging and CRM functionality offered through our services, and in accordance with applicable Meta and WhatsApp terms and policies.

Sharing of information

Mukbi does not sell personal information.

We may share information with service providers and infrastructure partners who help us operate our website and services, such as hosting, communications, analytics, and support providers. These providers are permitted to use information only as needed to perform services on our behalf.

WhatsApp and the WhatsApp Business Platform are services provided by Meta / WhatsApp and are third-party platforms. When messaging functionality involves WhatsApp, information may be processed by Meta / WhatsApp in accordance with their own terms and policies. Mukbi is not WhatsApp or Meta.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or pursuant to a valid legal request from a competent authority. Such requests are subject to appropriate verification and legal review, and where disclosure is legally required, Mukbi seeks to limit the information disclosed to what is reasonably necessary to comply with the request.

Government and public authority requests

Mukbi may receive requests from government agencies or other public authorities for information relating to users or customers. Mukbi does not provide personal information in response to informal or unverified requests.

Where a request is received, Mukbi will take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of the requesting party and review the request for legal validity before considering any disclosure.

Where disclosure is legally required, Mukbi will seek to provide only the information that is reasonably necessary to comply with the valid request, subject to applicable law and any restrictions on disclosure.

Requests received from public authorities and the actions taken in response may be documented and retained as necessary for legal, compliance, security, and audit purposes.

WhatsApp data and disconnecting WhatsApp

When a business connects its WhatsApp Business account to Mukbi, Mukbi may receive and process WhatsApp-related information made available through the WhatsApp Business Platform, including WhatsApp identifiers, phone numbers, message content, conversation information, and related metadata.

WhatsApp-related information is processed to provide the WhatsApp CRM functionality requested by the business, including receiving, displaying, organizing, and managing customer conversations.

When a business disconnects its WhatsApp Business account from Mukbi, Mukbi will stop receiving new WhatsApp information through that connection. WhatsApp-derived information retained in Mukbi will be handled in accordance with our Data Retention Policy and applicable deletion requirements.

Information independently entered or created in Mukbi by the business, such as manually entered customer information, notes, and other CRM records, may remain available after the WhatsApp connection is disconnected where it is not required to be deleted under applicable law or the applicable retention policy.

Businesses may contact Mukbi to request deletion of applicable information, subject to applicable legal and contractual requirements.

Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including service delivery, security, support, business records, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed.

Deletion requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate business, security, or legal record-keeping requirements. We will respond to valid requests in accordance with applicable obligations.

Where information is processed through Mukbi CRM on behalf of a business customer, certain requests may need to be directed to that customer, depending on the nature of the information and the applicable relationship.
